Born in Bangkok in 1998, Patis Intaramaha began his musical journey as a pianist at the age of four. At 13, he discovered his passion for the violin, studying under Yoddoy Bupasiri, who encouraged him to join the Young Artist Music Programme at the College of Music, Mahidol University. He went on to graduate with First-Class Honors, earning a Bachelor of Music degree under the tutelage of Omiros Yavroumis, concertmaster of the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra.
Throughout his studies, Patis continually sought to broaden his musical horizons. He trained with Chalat Limpisiri and served as co-concertmaster of the Siam Sinfonietta. His participation in the Erasmus program provided him with two opportunities to study abroad, spending a year at both the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Prof. Peter Schuhmayer and the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) with Prof. Alexander Sitkovetsky.
Patis recently completed his Master’s degree in Music Performance at ZHdK under Professor Sitkovetsky. He is currently a Teaching Assistant Doctoral student at the University of North Texas, where he studies with Julia Bushkova. His development as a violinist has been further enriched through masterclasses and lessons with distinguished artists such as Christoph Poppen, Rainer Schmidt, Ilya Gringolts, Jack Liebeck, and Pavel Vernikov.
